This classic game is a teletherapy hit

For my high energy kiddos who love to show off practically anything in their homes, this is a teletherapy activity favorite! Scavenger hunt is an interactive and playful way to target language goals while utilizing learning tools they are familiar with.

This phonological awareness activity is designed for teletherapy but can be used in any setting with a screen. A program that opens .ppt or .pptx files (e.g. PowerPoint or Google Slides) is highly recommended for animations to work.

Tips for customizing:

• For each trial, duplicate the pair of slides: 1) trial slide, 2) answer slide

• Ensure pictures on the trial slide are "animated," so that the client has an opportunity to respond before visual supports.

• Search up photos quickly through Google and copy and paste onto the slides

• Not targeting blending? This activity works for a variety of objectives! Customize the trial slide to reflect tasks for segmenting, manipulating, etc.
